C1.03. Do I need do validation after enrollment?

After enrolling the student must ensure that:

1) Authenticate documents within 30 consecutive days after enrollment:

1.1) of original documents of qualifications with which you applied (must be exactly the same as those in the application), not applying to entrants through the National Access Contest or through Special Regimes, considering that:

i) in case of documents relating to foreign qualifications obtained outside the European Union, you must authenticate those documents, being able to do so in one of the following ways:

  • send by mail, within three consecutive days after receiving this notification, the originals of the documents that you entered scanned in your application. It should be noted that they must be exactly the same as those inserted in the application.
  • send copies of these documents provided that these copies are certified by competent authorities that ensure that the copies correspond to the originals presented to them.
  • present them in person at the Academic Services, up to 30 consecutive days after enrollment (by appointment)
The documents should be sent to the following address: Serviços Académicos da Universidade de Évora, Largo dos Colegiais, Apartado 94, 7002-554 Évora, Portugal),

ii) in case of documents relating to foreign qualifications obtained in Portugal or in another country of the European Union, you must present the originals of the documents that you entered scanned in your application, which you can do in one of the following ways:

  • present them in person at the Academic Services (by appointment)
  • send copies of these documents provided that these copies are certified by competent authorities that ensure that the copies correspond to the originals presented to them.
The documents must be sent to the following address: Academic Services of the University of Évora, Largo dos Colegiais, Apartado 94, 7002-554 Évora, Portugal). Those will be returned when you show up in person at the University of Évora to validate your identification (until October 31st).

1.2) Present the identification document in person at the Academic Services (by appointment), international students can present ID as well as the visa until October 31.

1.3) In the courses in which this applies, submit the original prerequisite form, (by appointment). In the case of international students until October 31 of the entry year.

2) Pay the 1st installment of tuition fees, enrollment fee and school insurance within 30 days of enrollment, consulting for that the “Amounts to be Paid” at SIIUE, with the credentials received in the mail after having completed enrollment. Terms and payment methods can be consulted here.

Until the procedures referred to in 1) and 2) are completed, proof of enrollment or any certification document cannot be issued, however you can obtain a Letter of Acceptance from SIIUE after payment of the 1st installment of tuition fees.

3) Access SIIUE with student credentials to:

  • Consult the Study Plan for the course, to find out which curricular units you have to complete in each academic year, which are mandatory and which are optional, in which you can and should enroll annually;
  • Obtain proof of enrollment and registration;
  • Make/change enrollments;
  • Consult schedules;
  • Ask for Special Attendance Regimes (student workers, mother and father student, students with learning support needs, etc.);
  • Consult notifications;
  • Consult Payment Amounts;
  • Consult Regulation, Calendars and Academic Guide.
