D3.01. In which UC can you register?
Last Updated 3 months ago
When you register for a course (in the year of entry), registration for compulsory course units is automatic and you can only register up to a maximum of 60 ECTS (unless you have obtained credits, in which case you can register up to a maximum of 84 ECTS per year). If the course syllabus includes alternative Optional and/or Compulsory Curricular Units, you must register in SIIUE.
You can register for the UCs available on the syllabus of your course and your specialization/field/variant, if applicable. In the case of elective courses, only those assigned by the respective School/Department will be available.
You can consult the syllabus in your SIIUE profile, and in the comments to the syllabus you will find information on the number of compulsory and optional UCs and ECTS that you must attend in each semester/curriculum year to obtain the degree that your course confers.
You can only register for courses in a given year if you have passed, been accredited or registered for all the courses in the previous year(s). For example, you can only enroll in a course in the 2nd year of the study plan if you have passed or are enrolled in all the courses in the 1st year of the study plan.
2nd cycle, Integrated Master's or 3rd cycle students who have already completed the curricular component but are still working on their dissertation, project work, internship report or thesis must register for the respective UC each academic year.
