The Student Card will be essential to identify yourself as a university student, to move around the various buildings, residences and car parks of the University of Évora and streamline your day-to-day life.You can obtain it through the following options:

  • In person at the Academic Services, between September 1st and October 31st. In the year of admission, you must make an appointment in advance for “Enrollment - documents authentication”. After validating the documents, the student will be forwarded to the CGD service point in room 2 of the Santo Agostinho Building, where a temporary card will be made available when the application for the definitive card is completed.
  • Visit a office: At any Caixa Geral de Depósitos office, in Évora. If you prefer this option, you must take the following documents with you:
    • Identification document (Citizen Card or other);
    • Tax Identification Number;
    • Proof of enrollment in the academic year 2023/24.
You can choose the bank version of the card and add your identification card to your debit card. In this case, the card will be sent to the address you provided to CGD.You will be notified by the UÉ, as soon as the card is available, so that you can schedule your pick up at the Academic Services.

After obtaining the card, go to the Facilities Management Support Office, at the entrance to the Cloisters in the Espírito Santo Building, for the card to be validated when accessing buildings or car parks (upon payment of due fees).
