B4.01. Which are the conditions and how to apply for the Special Contest for Holders of University Degrees

Holders of a higher education degree (doctorate, masters or bachelor's degree) can apply for any Bachelor or Integrated Masters course for which vacancies have been made available under this Special Contest.

Conditions for accessing the contest:
  • Holders of a bachelor, master or doctor degree diploma (If the diploma doesn't contain the final average of the degree and/or if it doesn't appear on the 0-20 scale, a Declaration of the Institution that awarded the academic degree must be submitted with the average and/or the scale used, identifying the first positive echelon);
  • In case of application for a degree in Music, it is necessary to pass theSpecific Vocational Aptitude Test (PAVE);
  • In case of application for a courses in which prerequisites are required, a supporting statement must be submitted at the enrollment;
  • Proof of exception to international student status in case you have nationality from a country outside the European Union, but are covered by one of the cases in which this status does not apply.
Applications are made through the Integrated Information System of the UÉ (SIIUE), within the deadlines defined in the Applications Schedule in the UÉ.

When accessing the SIIUE to register the application in the desired competition/regime, the candidate will be redirected to a website where he will have to register the candidate data (name, email address, identification number and a password of his choice).

After this registration (see the New User Registration Guide) you will receive a notification to the specified email address, with a view to validating your SIIUE user registration credentials (username and password).

With the validation of this registration, the candidate will then be able to authenticate to SIIUE and make the application, attaching the following documents:

  • Diploma or Certificate of completion of the degree you hold ;
  • Proof of the curricular units taken in the previous higher education course(s), containing the ECTS, the Scientific Areas and the grades obtained (not applicable to UÉ students) ;
  • Document proving approval in Secondary Education, with the respective final grade ;
  • Document proving exception to the international student status in case you have nationality from a country outside the European Union, but are covered by one of the cases in which this status does not apply .

When applying online, it's necessary to upload the documents to SIIUE (Integrated Information System of the University of Évora), and the application will only be validated if submitted with all the required documentation. Uploading the documentation doesn't exempt, after enrolling, the in-person presentation of the original documents or sending them by mail, duly authenticated, as stated in the Application Regulation for access and admission to the University of Évora.

The application will only be considered delivered after payment of the respective fees.

After payment of the fees and validation of your registration, you will receive a notification informing you of this. If you have any document missing, it will be “Not Validated” and, within 24 hours, you must resubmit the application with the missing document.

The results, cleard from the ranking carried out under the terms of the Regulation of Applications for Access and Admission to the University of Évora, will be published on the Study Portal and will be made available on SIIUE, in your candidate profile, where you must access with your application credentials.
