D1.01. How to do the enrollment?

Enrollment in Curricular Units is the act to be carried out annually, online at SIIUE, which gives the student the right to attend classes and be evaluated in the Curricular Units in which he/she has enrolled. Master's and Doctoral students who are preparing their dissertation, internship report, project work or thesis need to enroll annually in this Curricular Unit.
A student who is not enrolled in a Curricular Unit is prevented from attending classes or being evaluated and late registration is subject to authorization and, if authorized, is subject to a fee for late acts. If you do not enroll in a school year, your enrollment is cancelled.
The student must annually enroll online at SIIUE, within the deadlines established in the Academic Procedures Calendar, in the mandatory, alternative mandatory and optional Curricular Units, which he/she intends to attend in the first and second semester, in accordance with the provisions of the course studies plan, available in the student SIIUE profile.
Failure to enroll in a school year, within the deadlines established in the Academic Procedures Calendar, implies the annulment of enrollment and, consequently, the loss of connection to the UÉ.
IN THE SCHOOL YEAR OF REGISTRATION
When enrolling in a course, enrollment in the mandatory Curricular Units is automatic and you can only enroll up to a maximum of 60 ECTS (unless you enroll in extracurricular UCs or have obtained accreditations, in which case you can enroll up to the maximum of 84 ECTS in the academic year).
In the case of re-enrolment, the student is automatically enrolled, up to the limit of 84 ECTS/school year, in the mandatory UCs in which he/she has not passed.
If the study plan of the course contemplates Optional and/or Compulsory Curricular Units, alternative or free electives, you must enroll in the SIIUE , within the established deadlines, in the Calendar of Academic Procedures or during the enrollment period, you can change the enrollments in the UCs at which was automatically enrolled in the enrollment.
IN THE YEARS AFTER REGISTRATION
In subsequent years, students must enroll annually (enrollment renewal) and enrollments can be made up to 84 ECTS/school year, subject to enrollment in the UC of previous curricular years in which they have not obtained approval. This does not apply in the academic year in which the student is subject to a curricular change due to the restructuring of the study plan.
Students of the 2nd and 3rd cycle, with more than one enrollment, will be allowed to enroll in the UC Tese or D/TP/RE provided that enrollments in the other UCs do not exceed 48 ECTS.
The maximum ECTS per academic year counts, whether the enrollment is in the UC of the study plan of the course in which you are enrolled or in UC for grade improvement or in recovery UC or in extracurricular UC.
In case of non-degree and preparatory courses, the maximum ECTS that the student can enroll in corresponds to the number of ECTS in the course, and the student cannot enroll in extracurricular courses.
By enrolling in Curricular Units, the student will have to pay the amount of the annual fee defined in a Rectoral order.
