B9.01. What are the conditions and how to apply for Re-entry (re-enrollment in the same course in which you have already been enrolled at the University of Évora)?
Last Updated 3 years ago

Re-entry is the act by which "a student, after interruption of studies, in a higher education institution/course pair, enrolls in the same institution and enrolls in the same course or in a course that has succeeded it".

Access conditions for Re-entry:

Have been enrolled and enrolled in that course at UÉ or in a course that preceded it;

Not have been enrolled in that course in the academic year prior to the one in which you wish to re-enter.

Re-entry applications can only be made to accredited courses with vacancies under the general access regime in the respective academic year. If the course is in operation and accredited, but no vacancies are available for that access regime, a request can be submitted through Gesdoc to request re-entry, which is subject to authorization by the Rectory, subject to the opinion of the Director of the Organic Unit.

Vacancies: Re-entry is not subject to vacancies.

Re-entry applications can only be made to accredited courses with vacancies under the general access regime in the respective academic year. If the course is in operation and accredited, but no vacancies are available for that access regime, a request may be submitted through Gesdoc to request re-entry, which is subject to authorization by the Rectory, subject to the opinion of the Director of the Organic Unit.

Re-entries are not subject to vacancies under the terms of the University of Évora's Access and Admission Regulations.

Applications are made through the UÉ's Integrated Information System (SIIUE), within the deadlines defined in the UÉ's Calendar of Applications.

When accessing SIIUE for application registration in the desired competition/regime, the applicant will be redirected to a webpage where he/she will have to register as a candidate (name, email address, identification number and a password of his/her choice).

After this registration (see New User Registration Guide) the candidate will receive a notification at the indicated email address in order to validate the registration credentials (username and password).

Once this registration is validated, the candidate will be able to log in to the SIIUE and submit the application, without having to attach any documents.

The application will only be considered submitted after payment of the respective fees.

When applying online it is necessary to upload the documents in SIIUE (Integrated Information System of the University of Évora), and the application will only be validated if submitted with all the required documentation. The upload of the documentation does not exempt, after the registration is effective, the presentation in person of the original documents or sending them by mail, duly authenticated, as stated in the Candidature Regulation for access and admission to the University of Évora .

The application will only be considered delivered after payment of the respective fees.

After payment of the fees and validation of your application you will receive a notification. If you have any missing document it will be "Not Validated" and within 24 hours you should resubmit your application with the missing document.

The results, resulting from the seriation carried out under the terms of the Regulation of Application for Access and Admission to the University of Évora, will be published in the Estudar Portal and will be available in the SIIUE, in your candidate profile, where you should access with your application credentials.
