B9.01. What are the conditions and how to apply for Re-entry (re-enrollment in the same course in which you have already been enrolled at the University of Évora)?
Last Updated 3 months ago

Re-entry is the act by which “a student, after interrupting their studies in a higher education institution/course pair, enrolls in the same institution and enrolls in the same or a successor course”.

Conditions for access to Re-entry:

  • Have been enrolled and registered for that course at UÉ or a course that preceded it;
  • You have not been enrolled on that course in the academic year prior to the one in which you wish to re-enter.
Applications can only be made for re-entry to accredited courses with vacancies under the general access regime in the respective academic year. If the course is in operation and accredited, but no vacancies are available for this access regime, an application can be submitted through Gesdocto request re-entry, subject to authorization by the Rectorate, after receiving an opinion from the Director of the Organic Unit.

Vacancies: Re-entry is not subject to vacancies.

Re-entries are not subject to vacancies under the terms of the Regulations on Applications for Access and Admission to the University of Évora .

Applications are made through the UÉ Integrated Information System (SIIUE), by the deadlines defined in the UÉ Application Calendar.

When accessing the SIIUE to register for the desired competition/scheme, the candidate will be redirected to a web page where they will have to register as a candidate (name, email address, ID number and a password of their choice).

After registering (see New User Registration Guide), you will receive a notification to the email address you provided, in order to validate your EUIS user registration credentials (username and password).

Once this registration has been validated, the applicant will then be able to log in to the EUIS and submit the application, without the need to attach any documents.

The application will only be considered submitted once the relevant fees have been paid.

When applying online, the documents must be uploaded to the SIIUE (Integrated Information System of the University of Évora), and the application will only be validated if it is submitted with all the required documentation. Uploading the documentation does not exempt you from presenting the original documents in person or sending them by post, duly authenticated, as stated in the Application Regulations for access and admission to the University of Évora.

The application will only be considered submitted once the relevant fees have been paid.

Once the fees have been paid and your application has been validated, you will receive a notification informing you of this. If you have any missing documents, they will be “Not Validated” and you must resubmit the application with the missing documents within 24 hours.

The results of the ranking carried out under the terms of the University of Évora's Access and Admission Application Regulations will be published on the Estudar website and will be made available on the SIIUE, in your candidate profile, where you must access them with your application credentials.
