Last Updated 5 months ago

Portaria n.º 181-D/2015, de 19 de Junho approves the new legal regime and Regulation for the Regimes of Re-entry and Change of Parity/Course in Higher Education.

Under the terms of the Regulation of Access and Admission Applications to the University of Évora:
  • Applicants for course change who have approved up to 35 ECTS in curricular units of the course they are applying for or in their scientific area, the same will be considered for the 1st curricular year of the respective course, being this regime subject to vacancies.
  • If you have more than 35 ECTS, the application will be considered for subsequent years of the respective courses, and this regime may be subject to vacancies in accordance with the provisions of this regulation.
Changing institution/course (course changes and transfers from another HEI to a course at the University of Évora) is the act by which a student enrolls and/or registers at a different institution or course from the one he or she enrolled in in previous academic years. The change of institution or course pair can take place with or without interrupting the matriculation and enrollment in a Higher Education Institution.

Students may request to change to a different institution/course pair if they:
  • They were registered and enrolled in a different Institution/Course pair and did not complete it;
  • Have completed secondary education or legally equivalent qualification and taken the national exams or equivalent to the entrance exams set for that course at the University of Évora, for the academic year for which they are applying, within the scope of the National Admission Competition.Note: national exams can be taken in any academic year;
  • They have obtained the minimum classification required for the desired course in the National Access Route exams, in the year in which they are applying.
If you have entered higher education through special competitions for students over 23 years of age or holders of Technological Specialization Courses or Higher Technical Professional Courses, or through the International Student Competition, the Rules of Application for Access and Admission to the University of Évora provides the conditions under which you can change institution/course pair

To access and enter the undergraduate degree in Music at UÉ, besides the access conditions for changing institution/course pair to which you apply and the regulations and seriation to which you are subject under this regime, candidates must previously enroll and pass the Vocational Aptitude Test, under the terms of the regulations of the respective local competition.

Applications to courses where prerequisites are required are conditional on these prerequisites being met, and a statement proving this must be submitted at the time of enrollment.

It is not allowed to request change of institution/course pair in the academic year in which the student has been placed in a higher education institution/course pair under any access and admission scheme, and in which he/she has enrolled and registered.
